The capital of Sangha is Ouesso. It has three international borders, with Cameroon, Gabon and the Central African Republic. This department is rich in wood. It is home to thirty-four species of precious wood, as well as coffee and cocoa. It is also home to bogs (which are a global oxygen reserve).
